California, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Watts Funeral home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Grace, who died Friday at his home, following a heart attack was at one time active in the state as an auctioneer. Born in Dubuque, Iowa, he made the Cherokee Strip run into Oklahoma and homesteaded near durham. He came to Oklahoma City in the 1920's and owned a sign company here. Grace auctioned farm equpment and produce and during World War I did many benefit auctions for bond drives. Following the war he was an auctioneer for goverment equipment and was finally given the honorary rank of colonle by the federal government. He also was one of the founders of Srong City in Roger Mills County. Survviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Maud Grace of Jacksonville, Florida; a daughter, Mrs. Jewell Stevens; aso of Jacksonville; and three sons, T.A. Grace, Houston; Phil Patrick and Col. M.J. Grace, both of Detroit, Michigan.
