Mr. Grayson was born in Jackson County, Alabama, June 18, 1891 to John Henry and Margarite McKay, Grayson. He was united in marriage to Hattie Norrell, July 25, 1909 in Titus County, Texas. Mr. Grayson has lived in Wheeler county since 1938 and had farmed during his life time. He was an ordained Deacon in the Baptist church and the Wheeler Masonic Lodge. Surviving him are his wife, Hattie of the home address, two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Vinson, Chandler, Arizona, Mrs. Margilu Reynolds, Reydon; five sons, W.C. of Norman, Erskin of Dumas, Texas; David of White Deere, Texas, Louis of Allison, Texas and Bobby of Spearman; one sister Mrs. Virgie Webster of Erick, Oklahoma, three brothers, Walter of Noble, Ulman of Noble, and Fred of Amarillo, Texas; 13 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and friends. Funeral services were Friday, June 30, at 2;30 p.m. in the Wheeler First Baptist Church. Rev. Dennis Herd of Kelton, and Rev. Dale Cain of Wheeler, officiated. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
