Obit for Alfred Young Hay


 Funeral services for Alfred Young Hay, Cheyenne, who died Friday January 12, 1968 
at the Cheyenne Roger Mills Memorial Hospital, were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the 
Baptist church Cheyenne, with Rev. Lloyd Martin officiating.

Born August 11, 1877 at Millersburg, Ind.  Mr. Hay was married to Lydia E. Bright 
at Berlin.

He had been a member of the Baptist Church at Meridian 55 years.  A retired farmer, 
Mr. Hay came to Oklahoma from Indiana in 1899 and had resided on his farm in Meridian
community.  He moved to Cheyenne in 1956.

He was preceded in death by two sons and one daughter.

Interment was in the Mulberry cemetery, Sweetwater, Roger Mills County, 
Oklahoma, with Scroggins and Son Funeral home in charge of arrangements.
