Funeral services were held in the Cheyenne First Baptist church Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Loyd Martin officiating. Born Februaary 23, 1883 near Omaha, Nebraksa, Mrs. Hay married Alfred Hay at Berlin in 1900. They moved to a farm in the Meridian community in 1901. In 1956 they moved to Cheyenne. Mrs. Hay was a member of the First Baptist church for a number of years. She was a past memb er of the Red Cross and the Meridian community club. She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons; one daughter; 13 brothers and sisters. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Carrie Higgins, Cheyenne; one son, Larence of Sayre, seven grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren. Grandsons served as pallbearers. Interment was in the Mulberry cemetery, Sweetwater, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose chapel Funeral Home. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
