Funeral services were held in the Cheyenne First Baptist church Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Loyd Martin officiating. Born February 23, 1883 near Omaha, Nebraska, Mrs. Hay married Alfred Hay at Berlin in 1900. They moved to a farm in the Meridian community in 1901. In 1966 they moved to Cheyenne. Mrsa. Hay was a member of the First Baptist church for a number of years. She was a past member of the Red Cross and the Meridian community club. She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons; one daughter; 13 brothers and sisters. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Carrie M. Higgins, Cheyenne; one son, Lawrence of Sayre, seven grandchildren; 20 greart great grandchildren. Grandsons served as pallbearers. Interment was in the Mulberry cemetery, Sweetwater, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose chapoel Funeral Home.
