Lawrence Harrt and Rev. Maax Malone and Frank Kauahquo officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Mennonite Cemetery, Northeast of Hammon under the directrion of Kern-Schedider-Liesau Funeral Home of Clinton. Mr. Hoffman was born October 18, 1915 west of Hammon to Albert Archie and Ida Vinnie White Eagle Hoffman and died at his residence in Hammon, Tuesday September 24, 1995. He was a retired businessman, having served 25 years in dedicated service to the Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribes as a committee member and Chairman for SWODA and as Executive officer for NAC. He married Kathryn Youngbull in 1932. He was a native American Church and Bethel Mennoite Church of Hammon. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn of the home; three sons, Archie Hoffman of Hammon, Frederick C. Hoffman of Elk City, John T. Hoffman of Sacramento, Cqlifornia; four daughters, Lucy M. Snyder of El Reno, Thelma Kauahquo of oklahoma City, Ida E. Beaver of Clinton, Arleen Chapman of Pawnee, two sisters, Elizabeth White Shield of Dallas, Texas, Theodora Whiteshirt of Watonga; 19 grandchildren, nine grat grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Mary Patricia Hoffman Rhoads, one adopted daughter, Colleen Williamson; one granddaughter; one grandson; and one infant granddaughter.
