Lois, one of eleven Flick children, is survived by one brother, George W. Flick of San Diego, California and one sister Beulah Odom of Phoenix, Arizona. She is also survived by her four children: Barbara Allee and Beverly Georgia of Oklahoma City, Harold Hubbard of Crawford, Oklahoma and Johnny R. Hubbard and wife Martha of Lenexa, Kansas. Lois also leaves eight grandcfhildren: Bob Allee of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Robert Graham and wife Marlene, of Omaha, Nebraska, Sandra L. Kirchinger and husband, David, MD of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Major Brian Hubbard and wife, Dona of San Antonio, Texas, Michelle Duncan and husband, David of Madisonville, Kentucky, Kim Justin and husband, Timof Castle Fraser, Scotland, Steven Hubbard of Menlo Park, California, and Roy M. Georgia and wife, Trisha, of Edmond, Oklahoma. Lois leaves behind thirteen great grandchildren ages 2- 18, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Lois was born in Newton-Stewart, Indiana on August 3, 1906. She graduated from Hammon High School and Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Lois was a pioneer school teacher and began her career in Kiowa and Five Star rural schools. During WW II, she returned to teaching where she worked in the Oklahoma towns of Crawford, Durham, Strong City and Canute. Lois retired from teaching in 1968 after working eleven years at Canute. Lois was active in OEA, Cheyenne Bridge Club, Roll Quilters Club, Delta Gamma and was a 4H Leader. In 1954, Lois received special recognition from Oklahoma &M College for outstanding leadership for 4H Clubs. Lois was also an active member in the Magnolia Baptist Church in Crawford, Oklahoma. Lois married Claude Hubbard in Hammon, Oklahoma in April 1927. Clauded and farmed and ranched in the Crawford community for over sixty years. They were married sixty-seven years when Claude passed away in 1994. Lois was a beautiful person. She loved to cook, sew, garden and quilt. She spent the past seven years in Oklahoma City in a retirement center. She was a wonderful mother and loved teaching school. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Betty Faye. Services will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Magnolia Baptist Church, Crawford, Oklahoma. Interment in Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
