Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church of White Deer with the Rev. John Collis, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in White Deer Cemetery by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Hughes was born in Canyon. She moved to White Deer in 1992 from Pampa. She worked as a seamstress most of her life and was a member of the First Baptist Church of White Deer. She married Howard D. Hughes in 1978 at Pampa. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, LaNell Painter of Edmonson and Laquita Craig of White Deer; two sons, Lynn Stark of Tulia and Lee Stark of White Deer; her mother, Myrtie Formway of Amarillo; two brothers, Albert Formway of Cheyenne, Okla., and Jim Formway of Clarendon; two sisters, Nadene Naylor of Dyersburg, Tenn., and Laveta Peters of Amarillo; and nine grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Olivia's Angels in care of BSA Hospice and Life Enrichment Center; or the First Baptist Church of White Deer.
