Haight, wife of Roger Mills County Treasurer, were held in Cheyenne Sunday afternoon. The services were held at the Baptist church with Rev. Curtis Camp of Elk City officiating. Burial was made in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Tunnard Funeral Home. Mrs. Haight died Saturday, June 3, 1944 in an Elk City hospital after an illness of several years and a critical illness of several weeks. Agnes Eliza Dixon was born at Hall Summit, Coffee county, Kansas, January 5, 1872. She was married to Thomas S. Haight of Hamilton, Kansas, on September 12, 1894. To this union was born four children: Earnie, Ruby Viola, Agnes Vera, and Ted. The two daughters, Ruby and Vera preceded the mother in death. Mrs. Haight became a member of he Christian Church many years ago and remained a faithful Christian to the end of life. Mr. and Mrs. Haight established the home in Roger Mills County near Crawford in 1913. In 1921 they moved to Cheyenne where she resided until her death. Survivorfs are the husband two sons, Ted Haight and C.E. Haight, both of Cheyenne, and four grandchildren alsdo of Cheyenne. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. W.I. Curry of Oklahoma City and one brother, Tom Dixon of Mulhall, Oklahoma. All of those relatives were present at the funeral.
