She had every attention during her sickness which loving hearts and gentle hands could administer, and the most skillful medical treatment. Dr. A.T. Hightower and Mrs. Mary Hightower, brother and mother of deceased's husband, came up from Saddler, Texas and J.W. Moore, her brother of Cliff, I.T. was in attendance to the end, while her other brother, J.J. Moore and her sister, Mrs. Lester Hunt gave every help within their power, all without avail. Susie Moore was born in Cook County, Texas, May 17, 1872 and was married to J.H. Hightower September 5, 1897. They came to this county five or six years ago, establishing their residence upon a claim about six miles southwest of town. She was a consistent member of thed Methodist Church for twenty years and was a faithful, goood woman in every relationship of her life. The deep, dark cloud of bereavement which hangs over her home is penetrated by the radiance of her life and a sanguine hope of thed future. Funeral services were held by the Rev. T.M. Wood at the Cheyenne cemetery Wednesday afternoon in the presence of a large concourse of sorrowing friends and the remains were tenderly laid to rest. We extend most profound sympathy and condolence to the bereaved.
