All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Surnames: Hackleman, Gray, Thomas, Grim, Dimick Joseph Henry Hackleman was born at Suplhur Springs, Texas, October 20, 1872, and died May 16, 1938 at Clinton, Oklahoma, at the age of 66 years. Mr. Hackleman was married February 12, 1902 to Emma Dora Gray at Mountain View, Oklahoma, who preceded him in death Septembver 14, 1931. He came to this country at the age of 16 years, and has made this state his home ever since. He spent his earlier life as a cowboy and ranchman in the western part of Oklahoma. In 1920 he moved to Oklahoma City where he was employed as Special Officer and Detective for the state and the Rock Island Railroad Company. In 1935 he moved to Cheyenne and accepted employment on a ranch, which was his chosen occupation. In early life he joined the Masonic and Odd Fellows lodges. Survivors are: three daughters, Betty (Mrs. E.P. Thomas) of Anadarko, Oklahoma; Glayds (Mrs. Orval Grim) of Cheyenne, Oklahoma and Ethelyn (Mrs. W.E. Dimick) of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren, two brothers and an uncle. Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, being conducted by Rev. J.W. Carleton. The Tunnard Funeral Home was in charge of the burial.
