Hawkins was born September 23, 1876, in Franklin, Tennessee, and came to Caddo county in 1911. He moved to Anadarko in 1945 and was a member of the Assembly of God church here. Survivors are his wife of the home address, five sons, Fred E., Fort Worth, Texas; Louis E., Stillwater; Floyd L., Fresno, California; Earl, Merced, California and Robert, Oakland, California. Two daughter, Mrs. Earl Ridle, Anadarko and Mrs. Helen Lair, Tulsa; one sister, Mrs. Vera Flannagan, Jacksboro, Texas, and three brothers, James, Paul and Charlie of Los Angeles, California and Ira of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by a number of grandchildren. Rev. Bealy, pastor of Assembly of God Church of Amarillo, had charge of the services. Burial was at Gracemont. Friends of the Hawkin's from Roger Mills County attending the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Billy Stauber, Sterling McColgin, Reydon, Mrs. Mattie Wheeler, Mrs. Barnard, Elroy Martin and Bernard Elms.
