She passed awaay April 18, 2004 at her home in Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years and 5 days. Marcie grew up in western Oklahoma and graduated from Cheyenne High School. She continued her education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford where she received her Pharmacy Degree. While in school, she was married to Clarence E. Hadlock. They lived in Oklahoma City and then Raton, New Mexico. They returned to Oklahoma City where she worked for McBride Bone and Joint Hopsital until her retirement. She lived in Canyon, Texas for six years and in 1993 she moved to Cheyenne, Oklahoma where she remained since. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and 1 brother, Rex Drake. Services were held April 21, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Chapel officiated by Andy Taylor. Burial was at Sayre-Doxey Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service. Survivors include: 2 sisters Frankie Lee Green of Canyon, Texas and Judy Boyce of Salt Lake City, Utah; 1 brother Jack Drake of Sayre, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews including Julie Taylor, Kenny Drake, Kathy Hennigh, Rodney Green, Billy Drake, William Quincy Boyce III, Michelle Mayfriend, Justin Daniel Boyce all of Sayre, Oklahoma; and a host of other relatives and friends.
