Hayden were Monday, August 9th, 1971, in the First Baptist Church, Strong City with Rev. Lee Vaughn officiating. He was born April 6, 1917 in Texas and moved to Roger Mills County in 1926 where he has resided most of the time since childhood. He served in the Armed Forces during World War II. Preceding him in death were his parents, J.C. and Esther Hayden, 4 brothers Lowell, Arthur, Elmer and DS.R., 1 sister, Laura Goode. Survivors are 2 brothers, Lloyd and Marvin of the home; and 6 sisters, Mrs. Winifred Graham, Bethany; Mrs. Doug Kendall, Cheyenne; Mrs. R.T. Martin, Mrs. R.M. Stephens, both of Sayre; Mrs. Roy Hay, Strong City; Mrs. Olen Zoldoske, Laverne. Pallbearers were Kenneth Hay, George Hayden, Lannie Zoldoske, Bill Dowell, W.F. Goode, Orren Thompson. Internment in Strong City Cemetery.
