Hayden was born April 4th, 1894 at McGregor, Texas and departed this life June 27th, 1944, at 10 o'clock p.m. in the Shattuck hospital. He was 50 years, two months and 23 days old. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Mary, and five children: L. George of Cheyenne; Dubert C. and Hubert C . of the army, stationed in Georgia, Jewel Oletta and Barbara Vernell, both at home. Otherf survivors are his brothers and sisters: W.A., E.B., D.R. and L.T. of Strong City; C.M. and R.C., of Oklahoma City; Marion M. somewhere in England; Mrs. J.L. Goode, Seagraves, Texas; Mrs. D. Kendall, Cheyenne; Mrs. R.T. Martin, Weslaco, Texas; Mrs. J.M. Kendall, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Olen Zoldoske, Laverne, Oklahoma; Mrs. Roy Hay, Strong City; Mrs. W. Graham, Crawford, Oklahoma. All were present for the funeral with the exception of C.M., Wilma and Marvin, who were unable to attend. Relatives of Mrs. Hayden pressent for the funeral were her brother, and two sisters from Abilene, Texas, and brother, John Brown, of Houston, Texas, and her brother Harvey Brown and family of Texas.
