(Hugh) Howell B.H. (Hugh) Howell, Erick, died Wednesday at the Erick nursing home. Funeral services were held Saturday, at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Buffalo, with Rev. Carl Coffey and Rev. Dan Baasham officiating. Born June 16, 1885 at Bowling Green, Kentuck, Mr. Howell came from Kentucky with his parents to the Buffalo community in the early 1900's. He was married January 8, 1908 at Rankin, Oklahoma to Grace Purcell and was a retired farmer of Rankin and Sweetwater communities. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Buffalo. Preceding him in death were his wife and one son. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Juanita Coffey, Sweetwater, and Mrs. Billie Hall, Klamath Falls, Oregon; nine grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Eva Davis, Pratt, Kansas; three brothers, Will Howell, Amarillo, Texas, Elzia and Joe Howell both of Mayfield.
