Hill, Strong City, died Friday, January 12, 1973 at the Shattuck hospital following an extended illness. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, January 14, 1973 at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Cheyenne. Officiating was Rev. Milton Gage. Born March 30, 1881 at Bolviar, Missouri, Mrs. Hill came with her parents when a child to Strong City. She married January 2, 1901 to George W. Hill near Cheyenne, who preceded her in death. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Lillie B. Guernsey of Raymond, Washingto, Mrs. Rena B. McClellan of Cheyenne; four sons, Walker of Hyannis, Nebraska, Andy of Panhandle, Texas, Leonar of Wichita, Kansas, Oliver of Sapulpa; 14 grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Fred Leach, John Leach, Kenneth Hay, Roy Hay, Weldon Davis, Delmar Robinson. Committal was in the Strong City cemetery, Strong City, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Scroggins and Son in charge of arrangements.
