Haley, 83, of Overton, Nevada, diedc November 14, 1991 at Humana Hospital in Las Vegas folloiwng an illness with cancer. He was born March 10, 1908 in Oklahoma. Jake was preceded in death by three wives, Ruby Price Haley, Florence Hayes Haley, and Lucy Nethercott Haley. He is survived by son Roger Haley of Alamogordo, New Mexico; four sisters, Lottie Dixon of alamogordo, Dessie Brooks of Lafayette, Louisiana, Ruby Freeman, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Melba Mott of Durant, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, John Haley of Alamogordo, Luann Oakey of Albuquerque, New Mexico; nephew Dean Quintal of Oveton, Nevada. Jake lived and worked in California for 20 years. He was a roofer and belonged to the Carpenters Union. For the past 15 years he became a Snowbird in Overton. He loved fishing on Lake Mead. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Funeral services were held November 16, 1991 at Calvary Community Church in Overton. Jake was a friend to everyone and he will be missed. Ruby and sister Dessie spent the last six weeks with Jake in the hospital.
