Hills, a pioneer resident of Strong City, died at his home on June 25, 1945 at 6 p.m. Mr. Hill was born February 20, 1861 at Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mintied Hill of Strong City; two daughters, Mrs. Lillie Guernsey of Raymond, Washington and Rena B. Hill of Strong City; five sons, Wade and Walker Hill of Hyannis, Nebraska, Andrew Hill of Camp Walters, Texas, Leonard Hill of Wichita, Kansas and Oliver Hill of Independence, Nebraska and two sisters, Mrs. Alma Shaffner and Mrs. Minnie Mitcher of Ringold, Texas, and one brother, James Hill of Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Services were held at the Strong City Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday. Burial was at the Strong City cemetery, Strong City, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
