He passed away October 6, 2006 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years, 4 months and 2 days. Russell graduated from Berlin and was married to Ruby Louise Blackburn at Sayre, Oklaholma on February 14, 1945. They have always lived in the Berlin community where they raised their children and made their home. Russell was a farmer and rancher and had worked as an auctioneer for Murphy Auctions and later ownedd Hall Auction Service. He sold his company to Gene Cobb and continued to work with Gene. Russsell loved to fish and watching sports. He was a member of the Sayre First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services were held on Monday, October 9, 2006 at 11:00 am at Sayre First Baptist Church officiated by Gary Baird and C .R. Tucker. Burial was at Berlin Cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service. Survivors are his wife Louise, of the home; 1 daughter Peggy Musick, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 1 son Stan Hall and wife, Pam, of Dallas, Texas; 2 sisters Minnie Tucker and husband, C.R.; jOhnnie Mack Womack, both of Elk City, Oklahoma; 1 brother, Marvin H. Hall and wife, Lois of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 3 grandchildren Julie Levely, Misty Stit, and Steven Hall; 5 great grandchildren Ryan, Shaylee, Chris, Trent, and Candy. And a host of other relatives and friends.
