Rev. Don Groves, pastor officiated with the assitance of Rev. Laddie Adams of Enid, Mrs. Hills who had been a resident of Cheyenne for more than forty years, died suddenly from a cerebral hemorrhage. Lena Grace Campbell was born September 28, 1894 aat Ozawkie, Kansas, the youngest child of Alexander and Matilda Campbell and departed this life October 2, 1964. She was united in marriage to Elvert Ray Hills August 19, 1914 at Ozawkie. Following their marriage they established their first home in the Oklahoma Panhandle, coming to Cheyenne in 1922 where she has since resided. To this union four children were born. Her husband and one son Marshall, preceded her in death. Grace Hills was a member of the First Methodist Church of Cheyenne and the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by one son W.E. Hills, Cheyenne; two daughters, Mrs. Ed O;Neill, Cheyenne and Mrs. Bobby Joe Burns of Shreveport, Louisiana; a sister, Mrs. Mae Allen, Kansas City, Missouri; seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, other relatives and friends.
