Holt, 48, of 700 S. 18th Street, Clinton, klahoma were held Saturday, January 6, 1973 at 10 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Cheyenne with Rev. Lloyd Martin officiating. Eldon was a survveyor having worked in many parts of the United States and Anchorage, Alaska. He passed away in Clinton, Oklahoma General Hospital Wednesday evening, January 3rd, 1973. He was born at Roll and grew up in Clinton. He also resided in the Crawford and Roll area. A veteran of World War II he served in the European Theatre of Operations and was a member of the Campbell Cross post 81 of Cheyenne. Burial was in the Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Survivors include one son E. Wayne Holt, of Claremore, Oklahoma, his mother Mrs. Fred R. Gauger of Clinton; three sisters, Mrs. Bill (Mary) Kendrick, of Clinton, Mrs. Bob (Jo Marie) Townsley of Centralia, Illinois and Mrs. Floyd (Ruth) Keller of Dalhart, Texas and 3 brothers, Roger R. Gauger, Clinton, Fred N. Gauger of Tulsa and Buck Holt of Amarillo, Texas. is step motyher Mrs. Vern (Neth) Holt, of Cheyenne, and his step father Fred R. Gauger of Clinton and other relatives and a host of friends.
