She was a lifetime resident of Scott County. Born October 15, 1903 in Scott County to Frank and Janie Worley French, she attended school at Manning. She married L.W. Huling on July 24, 1935. He died in 1974. Mrs. Huling was a member of the Church of the Nazerene at Scott City, where she was awarded the Distingusihed Service award in 1991. Surviving are a son: Darrell of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; sister, Mabel Carson of Scott City; four grandsons and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Scott City Church of the Nazarene, with Rev. Ben Turner officiating. Interment was in the Scott County cemetery, with Price and Sons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The children ask that if you feel need to do something please give memorial gift to the Roger Mills County Memorial Hospital.
