Hillman Funeral services for Roland M. Hillman were held December 10, 2001, in the Church of Christ in Salem, OR. Ronlad died December 6, 2001 after fighting cancer for almost a year. He lived his young life in the midway-Reydon community. After Pearl Harbor he moved to Portland, OR work in ship yards. There he married Jane Day. They had three children, Fred, Margarete, and Doris Ann. He raised two step-sons, Glen and Jim Day. He spent most of his later life in Oregon, except a few years in Reydon, Oklahoma and White Deere, Texas, where he joined the Church of Christ. He was born in 1919 to Bert and Etta Hillman at Wheeler, Texas. He is survived by his wife Jane of 57 years, two-step sons, one brother Gale Hillman, Oklahoma City, sisters, Marie Baker of Wheeler, Texas and Alene Parman, Reydon, Oklahoma and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, loved ones and friends.
