She was married to Donley C. Reed at Springhill, Kansas, in 1900. To this union four children were born. Two sons passed away when children. They moved to Rankin, Oklahoma in 1904; as her mother and her brother, J.T. Rankin, known as Uncle Tommy Rankin, had opened the first grocery store and was the first Postmaster in Rankin. The couple moved back to Elk City in 1908. Later she came back to Rankin to be with her mother. She was married to Fred Hines July 14, 1914 at Cheyenne. He preceded her in death February 17, 1957. The Hines moved to Cheyenne in October 1966. She was a member of the Reydon Methodist Church, and attended when able. Also the Women's Society of Christian Service when able. She belonged to the Rebekah Lodge for over 50 years. She leaves to mourn her daughter, Mrs. Lola M. Cate of Scottsbluff, Nebraska and a son, Charleds E. Reed, of Chicago, Illinois; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren and hos of friends. The funeral was conducted Thursday at 2:30 p.m. December 16, 1971 in the Reydon United Methodist Church. Pastor, Rev. Roy B. Weaver officated. Interment was in the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma beside her husband.
