Fostena attended school in Cheyenne, Oklahoma graduating with the senior class of 1945. During the 1950's she moved with her family to Mesa, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her father, one brother and one nephew. Tena leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Glen Hamaker, Apache Jct., Arizona; two sons, William G. Cross and Michael Cross; one daughter-in- law, Sandra; two granddaughters, Angie Kay and Cindy Rae Cross, all of Apache Jct. Arizona. Her mother, Gertrude Woods; one brother, Joe Woods, Mesa,Arizona; two sisters, Pat Edwards, Phoenix, Arizona; and Ann Conway, Mesa, Arizona; four nephews and five nieces. Memorial services were held June 28, 1985 at Bunkers Desert View chapel, Mesa, Arizona. Also attending the services were her uncle, Lloyd Lee Martin and Ruby; Mary Martin, Gary and Jackie Martin, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Marion Cross Greever, Bakersfield, California, a cousin, Ralph and Irene Harmon, Mesa, Arizona, and a host of friends. These words were on the leaf of the memorial tribute and would have been Tena's words to us. Turn Again to Us If I should die and leave you here awhile, Be not like ohters, sore undone, who keep long vigil by the silent dust and weep. For may ske turn again to life and smile.
