All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Surnames: Harbour, Sounders, Harrel, Harrell, Lovett Mrs. Lily Harbour of Victorville, California died January 8, 1981 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Web Sounders in Alta Loma, California after a long illness. She was born in Cloud Chief Indian Territory, Oklahoma in 1898 to George and Luzetta Harrel and moved with her parents to Ioland, Oklahoma, Ellis County, about 1900. She taught at shcools in Ellis County and Roger Mills County before marrying Roy Harbour in 1922. They celebrated their Golden Wedding before he passed away in 1973. The Harbours made their home in Roger Mills County for several years and three children were born to them there. They later moved to California. Lily was a devoted Chirstian, active in her church while in Cheyenne, also in Ontario at the Victorville Assembly of God, where she lived her last years. She was referred to by her friends and relatives as a very great lady. She is survived by her three children, Delvin Harbour, Orville Harbour and Violet Sounders all of California; her brother and wife, Hugh Harrell, Leedey, Oklahoma, and sister, Mrs. A.E. Lovett, Cheyenne, Oklahoma, who was in California at beside with her in her last days.
