Following an illness of about 1 year. At the age of 65 years 11 months. On August 25, 1928 at Cheyenne, Oklahoma she was married to John Joseph Herman Horstkoetter. To this union were born 5 children 4 sons and 1 daughter. She was preceded in death by her father and mother and 1 brother. Survivors are her husnband ohn Joseph Herman Horstkoetter, Jr. of Fairfield, California, Doyle Gerald Lavone Horstkoetter of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Antonio Eugene Cortex orstkoetter of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Latwinaa Delphelnia Bonita orstkoetter Herndon of Hammon, Oklahoma, Lavon Delano Benito Horstkoetter of Ardmore, Oklahoma, 1 son-in-law Wendell Ray Herndon, 4 daughters-in-law, Georgia Baron Horstkoetter, Melba ope Horstkoetter, Darla Headrick Horstkoetter, Darla Headrick Horstkoetter, Matha Bell Horstkoetter, 11 grandchildren, Pamela Salaas, Karen Horstkoetter, Eugene Horskoetter, Shelia Jooy Horskoetter, Calude Ray Herndon, Johnny Lynn Herndon, Michael Horstkoetter, and Mitchel Horstkoetter and 3 great grandchildren, 1 sister, Ora Bell Caffey Leach of Cheyenne, Oklahoma and a brother-in- law, John Leach, 2 sisters-in-law Gertrude Benne of Florissant, Missouri and Marie Horstkoetter of Okeene, Oklahoma. A host of nieces, nephews and friends. Etehl lived all of her life in Roger Mills County. She moved to Hammon from Durham in 1943. Where she lived until her death. Ethel was a member of Hammon Rebekah Lodge #289 which she did serve as oble Grand. Her passing will leave a vacant spot in the hearts of all who knew her. Services were conducted in the First Baptist Church of Strong City, Oklahoma Friday, September 26, 1975, at 2 p.m. Officiating was Rev. Lloyd Martin of Crawford, Oklahoma. Interment was in the Strong City Cemetery, Strong City, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the driection of Martin Funeral Home. Pallbearers were, Wiley Lewis, Earl Brown, Wesley Hardin Jr., A.G. Creach, Jr., Delmar Robinson, Lloyd Murdock, Honorary Pallbearers: E.J. Gas Sr., Bill Kent, Glen Linville, Ted Dean.
