He passed away April 21, 2003 in Roger Mills Memorial Hospital, Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the age of 4 years and 11 months and 17 days. Tommy was attending Pre K at Reydon Schools. He didn't know a stranger and loved to watch Scobby Doo, Spiderman and run aroung with his cousins wearing capes playing Superman outside. He loved his animals and especially his best friend, Coal, his dog. Tommy enjoyed playing on the computer and riding his battery operated motorcylce of hours. He was a member of the Reydon United Methodist Church and just received his shirt for the Straight Arrow program from the Reydon Community Church. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Naomi Smith. Services were held Saturday, April 26, 2003 at 2:00 PM at Reydon Community Building, officiated by Rev. Margaret Friend. Burial was held at the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service, Cheyenne. Survivors include: his mother, Vicki Smith of Reydon, Oklahoma; his father, James T. Howard, III and wife, Teresa of Pampa, Texas; 4 sisters, Cheyenne Maree Greer of Unionville, Virginia, Ashlie Cox, Marybeth Cox, and Cori Cox all of Pampa, Texas; maternal grandparent, Richard R. Smith of Sayre, Oklahoma; paternal grandparents, James T. Howard, Jr. and wife, Barbara of Reydon, Oklahoma, Carole Howard of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
