(Affie) Hart former Roger Mills County resident who died Wednesday July 5, 1972 at the Community Hospital in Elk City was conducted from the Church of God Saturday July 8, 1972 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Kresten Norholm and Rev. Bob Denny officiating. Burial was in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Elk City, Beckham County, Oklahoma with Martin Funeral Home of Elk City in charge of services. Mrs. Hart was born July 8, 1882 in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. She was 89. She came to Western Oklahoma in 1902 where she was married to James C. Hart at Cheyenne, Oklahoma on January 1, 1902 and they established their home on a farm in Roger Mills County which Mr. Hart had homesteaded. They moved to Sentinel in 1908, then to Elk City in 1918. Mr. Hart preceded her in death February 4, 1970. Mrs. Hart has been a member of the Church of GGod since 1920. Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. Ted (Mary) Cochran, Elk City, and Mrs. Tom (Ruth) Cochran of Sentinel, 6 grandchildren 22 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren also 1 half sister, Mrs. Lula Rae Hatfield of Oklahoma City.
