Horton, 87, of North Star Route, Cheyenne, who passed from this life, Februatry 11, 1982, were held Sunday afternoon, February 14, 1982, at 2:00 at the First Baptist Church, Cheyenne, with Clyde Denny and A.L. Martin officiating. Interment followed in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Mr. Horton was born September 25, 1894 , in Green Forest, Arkansas, to Haston and Nancy Horton and came to Roger Mills County in 1914 and has lived here since that time. He was employed as a farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church. Hre was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Tom Horton. Survivors include 1 sister-in-law, Mrs. Earlsey Horton, of Lampe, Missouri;p 2 nieces, Wilma Jean DeLong, of Lampe, Missouri, and Patsy Marylee Keys of Harrison, Arkansas; 4 nephews, Haston Doyle Horton of Lampe, Missouri, Roy Ivan Horton of Blue Eye, Arkansas, Roger Wilford Horton of Berryville, Akransas, and Jack Harrison Horton of Green Forest, Arkansas. Serving as Pallbearers were George Goin, Carl Goin, Leon Keahey, George Wright, Jerry Bright and Gene Ford. Arrangements were made by Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Cheyenne.
