Harmon, Cheyenne, died Thursday, May 28, 1970 at Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Funeral services were held Friday at 3 p.m. in the Cheyenne Church of Christ with Rev. Lloyd Martin and Raymond Duncan, ministers officiating. Born September 25, 1892, at Illinois, Mrs. Harmon was married to Newton E. Harmon in Kansas in 1898. They came to Dempsey community in 1900 from eastern Oklahoma. They moved to Cheyenne in 1928. She was a member of the Church of Christ since 1908. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Daisy Parman, Reydon, Mrs. Ruth Martinson, Raton, New Mexico, Mrs. Lorene Webb, Sparks; three sons, Eddie of Sayre, Paul of Pasadena, California, Floyd of Midwest City; 20 grandchildren, 63 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren. Pall bearers were Bob Trammell, Bill Trammell, Bill Jones, Carl Parman, Wilburn Lackey, Dennis Eastep. Committal was in the Dempsey cemetery, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Scroggins and Son in charge of arrangements.
