Rev J. L. Davis, pastor of the Sayre Methodist Episcopal church circuit officiated. Burial was in the Berlin cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Mr. Hall, who died in a Sayre hospital, February 18, 1936 came to this section in 1901 and settled on a farm 15 miles south of Sayre. He is survived by his widow, five sons and three daughters, Sons are John, George and Loyd Hall, all of Sayre; Jeff Hall, Clovis N.M. and Norris Hall, Phoenix, Daughters are Mrs. Mary Austin, Sayre; Mrs. Bessie Gardner, Frederick; Mrs. Martha Letham, Oklahoma City. Funeral services for John Wesley Hall who died Tuesday night following a prolonged illness, will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Berlin Methodist church. Mr. Hall was a pioneer resident of Western Oklahoma. Rev. J. L. Davis, pastor of the Sayre circuit of the Methodist Church, will officiate at the rites. Interment will be made at the Berlin cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with the Moore Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Hall had been in ill health for some time and his condition grew steadily worse until his death Tuesday night in the Sayre hospital. He was one of the old-time settlers of this section of the state, having made his home on a farm 15 miles south of Sayre since 1901. Survivors are include his widow, five boys, John Hall, George Hall, Loyd Hall of Sayre, Jeff all of Clovis, N.M., and Norris of Phoenix, Ariz.; and three daughters, Mrs. Mary Austin of Sayre, Mrs. Bessie Gardner of Frederick, and Mrs. Martha Letham of Oklahoma City. Sayre Headlight, Sayre, OK 20-Feb-1936 Funeral services will be held at the Berlin Methodist church at 2 o'clock this afternoon for John Wesley Hall, pioneer Beckham county resident, with Rev. J. L. Davis officiating. The deceased was born in Virginia, August 19, 1858 and homesteaded south of Sayre in 1901 where he has been since. He succumbed to an attack of kidney trouble Tuesday night after a three week illness. Survivors are five boys, John, George, Loyd, all of Sayre, Jeff Hall, Clovis, N.M., and Norris Hall, Phoenix, Ariz. Three daughters, Mrs. Mary Austin, Sayre, Mrs. Martha Lathan, Oklahoma City and Mrs. Bessie Gardner, Frederick, Oklahoma. Funeral services will b e held at the Berlin Methodist church this afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. J. L. Davis officiating and the Moore funeral directors in charge of the interment at the Berlin cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
