All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Berlin Cemetery--Berlin OK Surnames: Hamby, Baker, Arnold, Fedric, Seals, Law Originally posted at: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/5YB.2ACE/7297 Mrs. Minnie Hamby, 73, of one mile west and two miles north of Berlin died at 11:32 o'clock Thursday night September 18, 1941 in an Elk City hospital, after an illness of fifteen days. She was born on January 1, 1868 in Putman county, Iowa and married at the age of fifteen to E. F. Baker in Marysville, Mo. They came to Roger Mills county in 1901 where they filed on a farm Mr. Baker died in 1919. On May 9, 1927, she married J. L. Hamby. She was a member of the Church of God. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Baptist church in Berlin with Rev. Cecil Baggett, pastor of the church officiating. Burial will be at the Berlin cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Mrs. Hamby is survived by her husband, five daughters, two sons, 23 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. The daughters included: Mrs. L. B. Arnold, of Sulphur; Mrs. W. T. Baker, Sayre, Mrs May Fedrice, Clovis, New Mexico, Mrs. Bidie Seals, Tell, Texas and Mrs. Edna Law, Lawton. The sons include Forrest Baker of Sayre and Mancel Baker of Erick.
