She passed away October 3, 2006 at Wasenburg, Colorado at the age of 63 years, 4 months and 9 days. Sadie lived with her parents on a farm south of Cheyenne and graduated from Cheyenne High School in 1963. She remained in Cheyenne where she worked at the Davis Grocery, Martin Grocery and Krows Grocery as a butcher. She was married to Paul Jefferson Haney at Wheeler, Texas on December 8, 1975 and they remained in Cheyenne to make their home. Paul passed away in 1977. She moved to Burns Flat to live with her sister in 1991. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 2 brothers. Services were held on October 6, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Cheyenne First Baptist Church officiated by Loyd Hall. Burial was at Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Whinery-Savage Funeral Service, Elk City, Oklahoma. Survivors are 2 sisters Mary Parkhurst, of Burns Flat, Oklahoma and Ruby Baker and husband Paul, of Marlow, Oklahoma; 4 brothers Gene McCaskill and wife, Kathryn, of Berlin, Oklahoma, Ralph McCaskill and wife, Barbara, of Elk City, Oklahoma, John McCaskill and wife, Betty, of Gentry, Arkansas and Jimmy McCaskill of Burns Flat, Oklahoma. And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
