Haven was born January 31, 1933 in Reydon, Oklahoma to Irma Jessie and Raison Lyman Haven, Sr. He passed away September 24, 2010 at Canadian, Texas at the age of 77 years, 7 months and 23 days. Raison graduated from Durham High School and entered the United States Military. In 1963 he was married to Gertrud Ann Haven (Stuetz) at Castle, Germany. Raison served his country for over 20 years during the Korean War and the Vietnam Conflict in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force. Ranson had received the Purple Heart. They lived in Reydon, Oklahoma before moving to California for 4 years. In 1971 they moved to Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Gertrud passed away in 199. Raison later moved to the family farm in Durham, Oklahoma to make his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 2 Sons, Raison Joseph Haven and Randy Haven. 2 infant brothers and 1 brother, Lonnie Joe Haven and 1 Nephew, Rocky Haven. He is survived by 1 Daughter, Rhonda Whitley and husband, Brando, Hydro, Oklahoma; 2 Sons, Ray Haven and wife, Casie, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; John Haven and wife, Dana, Durham, Oklahoma; Special Friend, Doris Veeder, Trenton, MO; 12 Grandchildren, Bray, Joshua, Mason, Sarah, Rossi, Tiffany, Dalton, Haley, Blaine, Tristen, Aspen, Brittany Hamman and husband, Kodey, 2 Great Grandchildren, Kira and Miley and a host of other relatives and friends. Services were held Monday, September 27, 2910 at 2:00 pm at the Durham Community Building officiated by Darrell Moore. Burial followed at the Cheyenne Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service, Cheyenne.
