He passed away July 17, 2011, at Crawford, Oklahoma, at the age of 81 years, 6 months and 10 daya. Harold attended school at Five Star and the Roll One Room School before graduating as Salutation of his class from Crawford High School. He continued education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma before moving to Borger, Texas, where he worked for Phillips Petroleum. In the late 1960's, Harold returned to Roger Mills County to begin farming and ranching on the family farm. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Betty Faye Hubbard. He is survived by 2 sisters, Barbara Allee, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Beverly H. Georgia, Oklahoma City, OK; 1 brother, Johnny R. Hubbard and wife, Martha, Lenexa, KS; his nieces and nephews, Robert Allee, Oklahoma City, OK, Robert Graham, Papillion, NE, Sandra Kirchinger, Grand Rapids, MI, Roy M. Georgia, Edmond, OK, Major (P) Brian S. Hubbard, Eglin, AFB, FL, Michelle Duncan, Loogootee, IN, Kim Justice, Ho Chin Minh City, Vietnam, Steven Hubbard, Beijing, China, and host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held July 21, 2011 at 10:00 am, at Crawford Magnolia Baptist Church officiated by Terry Beals. Burial will be at Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
