He passed away July 18, 2010 at Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 97 years, 7 months and 10 days. Shorty grew up and attended schools in Roger Mills County. He was married to Juanita Pearl (Nesmith) Hubbard at Cheyenne, Oklahoma on July 22, 1935. Shorty was a farmer and raised cattle most of his life, but had the ability to do carpentry work. In the midc 40's he built the house that he and Juanita lived in until 1993 when they moved to Cheyenne to make their home. He enjoyed dancing, playing bridge and was an avid domino player. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, infant son, Jerry Randall and 11 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his 2 daughters, Carolyn Bradley and husband, Ed, Blanchard, Oklahoma; and Anita Davis and husband, Jack, Pampa, Teas; 9 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 8 step great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, 10 step great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services were held July 21, 2010 at Rose Chapel in Sayre officiated by Tommy Davis. Burial followed at Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
