Jackson was a contractor driller in a copper mine in Globe and had been married about seven years. His mother, wife and brother, Iray were at his bedside. He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Edith McKinney, of Elk City, three children, Jimmy Dean, six years of age, Sharon kay, four and Ronnie 27 months. There also survive three sisters, Mrs. Laurence Beckel, of Durham, Oklahoma, Mrs. Eldon Shinault of Elk City and Mrs. Cecil Mitchell of El Monte, California; his mother, Mrs. Mattie Calloway of El Monte, California; and three brothers, Leon Jackson, Elk City, Everett Jackson, Strong City, Oklahoma and Iray Jackson of El Monte, California. Funeral services were held at Globe, Arizona Saturday at 5 p.m. The remains were shipped to El Monte, California for burial. Jackson was 33 years old, and at one time several years ago was a resident of the Durham community.
