Funeral services were held hursday, at 2:30 p.m. in the Baptist church at Elk City, Rev. Louis M. Hancock, pastor officiated. Burial was in Fairlawn cemetery, Elk City, Beckham County, Oklahoma. Casket bearers were Clifford Jones, Jodie Reece, Monte Reger, Bee Wallace, Clarence Fowler and Truman Farmer. Jack Jones was born April 14, 1908, at Elk City. He attended high school at Elk City. After serving in the Army for ten months, he received a medical discharge. On February 28, 1953, he was married to Mae Slankard at Chickasha, Oklahoma. Survivors include his wife of the home address; a step-daughter, Mary Beth Cuthbert; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jones of Cheyenne; two brothers, Allen of Cheyenne and Paul A. of Sacramento, California; and one nephew Paul A.
