Jones were held at the Assembly of God church Monday at 2:30 p.m. Rev. M.I. Pierce, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Red Hill cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. G.W. Jones was born at Danville, Arkansas, on October 25, 1869, and died at his home early Saturday, September 22, 1951, after 3 1/2 years illness. He was married to Dora Bearden at Wewoka, Oklahoma, March 3, 1925. He and Mrs. Jones moved to Western Oklahomsa in 1929, and moved from Leedey to Hammon in 1937. He was a mewmber of the Assembly of God church. Survivors include his wife, Dora, Hammon; five sons, Ervin, Stonewall, Oklahoma; Lee, Foyil, Oklahoma; Melvin, Borger, Texas; Debs, Hayward, California; and Stanley, Leedey, Oklahoma; three daughters, Mrs. Roy L. Reed, Elk City; Mrs. Howard March, Sallisaw, Oklahoma; and Mrs. Clifford Hunt; El Paso, Oklahoma; 27 grandcchildren and 5 great grandchildren; olne brother, Benton Jones, Waldron, Arkansas; two sisters, Mrs. Charley Donham, Waldron, Arkansas and Mrs. Bud Beaty, Lake Jackson, Texas.
