Jencks who resides south of town was dead Mrs. Jencks had apparently been enjoying good health, but Thursday about noon she suffered an attack of appoplexy from which she never rallied, passing away at six o'clock. Sarah E. Austing was born March 13, 1878 at Summer, Iowa, was united in marriage to Wm. H. Jencks December 11, 1895, moved to Texas and resided in that state five years, when they moved to Oklahoma and settled on a claim south of this city where she lived until her death on last Thursday, May 17, 1923, age 45 years 2 months and 4 days. To this union seven children were born, one of which died in infancy, six of whom are living to mourn the loss of their beloved mother. They are: Oliver H., Irened, Abby, Paul, Robert and Vera Queen and two great grand children, Austin Leo and Alice Mareta. All of the family was present at her death except Irene who resides in Spokane, Washington. She leaves a mother, two brothers, two sisters and a number of cousins, and a host of friends besides the bereaved husband and the children, to mourn her loss. Mrs. Jencks was a faithful follower of the Master, and always ready to minister to the afflicted and the down trodden. She wsas everything that a wife and mother should be. Her loss is irreparable in the Jencks home and the many friends deeply sympathize with them in their loss.
