James, Clinton night club operator, who died in a Seminole hospital at 4:45 Monday afternoon October 21, 1936 will be held at Cheyenne Friday afternoon it was learned here today. The hour for the funeral service was not learned. The rites will be conducted from the Cheyenne Methodist Church. Burial will be made at the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. James never regained consciousness after the four-way collision near Seminole in which three other persons were injured fatally. Miss Carrie Hubbard, Clinton, co-operator of a Clinton night club who was with James in the crash, was recovering from severe hurts she received in the accident. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Epperson, Tecumseh, who were married in Custer county, September 29, 1936, died almost instantly and Hugh Reynolds, veteran Seminole police officer was killed a few minutes later when the fourth automobile smashed into the wreckage. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. B.R. James of California, and two sons, Henry of Cheyenne, and Leroy of Santa Fe, N.M. and his father S.J. James of Cheyenne.
