Kliewer passed away at Newton, Kansas, August 20, 1951. She will be remembered as the wife of Rev. H.J. Kliewer, the Indian Missionary at the Mennoite church. Mrs. Kliewer also served as matron to the Indian a number of years. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Martha Linscheid, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Linda Van der Smissen, Carson, Nevada, and Mrs. Ruth Linscheid, Arlington, Kansas, one son, Milton J. Kliewer, Borger, Texas. All were graduates of Hammon High School. Mrs. Martha Linscheid was a music teacher in Hammon School at one time.
