He passed away Feburary 11, 1969, at Midwest City, Oklahoma. He grew to manhood at Dempsey, Oklahoma where he married Jennie Batchelor in 1915. To this union three sons were born. An infant and Joe Henry, age 48, of Stillwater, Oklahoma preceded him in death. He leaves his wife, Myrtle, of Choctaw, Oklahoma; one son, Frankie L. of Moore, Oklahoma; Two granddaughters, Mrs. Deanna Brooks of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Mrs. Janis Thomason and son, Chad, of Oklahoma City; one grandson, Doran King of Moore, Oklahoma; one brother George King, of Oklahoma City; and one sister, Addie Abbott of Reydon, Oklahoma; one grandson, Charles King, preceded him in death in 1966.
