He came Saturday to the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E.T. Gamble who reside on a farm near Reydon to visit and hunt for a time. Acording to information received from authorities, young King left the Gamble home about 10:30 Saturday morning to hunt. He did not return for lunch and when night fall began to arrive and he had not yet returned, his grandparents went out to look for him. After searching for a time and not finding the grandson, they notified his father at Moore, who immediately came to the scene. A searching party of neighbors and friends was formed to traverse each portion of the Gamble farm. At 7:20 Sunday morning his body was found about one mile northeast of the Gamble home in a pasture. He was found on the farm holding a high powered rifle with both hands and apparently had accidently leaned on it causing it to discharge and was shot fatally in the head.
