She graduated from Cheyenne High School with the Class of 1969, and received her degree from Southwestern State University at Weatherford in 1973. She lived in Yukon one year, then moved to Kingfisher after her marriage to Steven Smith May 11, 1974 where she has since lived. She was affiliated with the Oak Street Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband, Steve and son Steven Ryan of the home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kendall, Cheyenne; two brothers, Neal Kendall, Cheyenne; and Roger Kendall, Stillwater; four sisters, Mrs. Carla Compton, Kearney, Nebraska; Mrs. Jolene Parkhurst, Cheyenne; Mrs. Ginger Pope, Sayre and Mrs. Kimberly Rogers, Leedey.
