Obit for William H. Kenner

Funeral rites for William H. Kenner, farmer and rancher of the Berlin community 
who died Friday afternoon January 23, 1959 in a car accident one mile east of 
Berlin were held Sunday at the Berlin school auditorium at 2:30 p.m. with Tom 
Kent, officiating.

Born May 21, 1890 at Lexington, Texas, he came to Oklahoma in 1900 and settled 
at Olustee, Oklahoma, later moving to Canute, where he resided until 1929 when he 
moved to his present home in the Berlin community.

A member of the American Legion and the DAV, he served 3 years in the U.S. Army 
in World War I.

His father, one sister and one brother preceded him in death.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Elsie Kenner of the home address, one daughter, 
Mrs. Octana Davis, Chickasha; two sons, Conard of Clovis, New Mexico and 
Clifford of Cheyenne; four grandchildren, his mother, Mrs. Mattie Kenner, 
Elk City; three sisters, Mrs. Ray Schooler, Mrs. Annie powell of Elk City and 
Mrs. Maggie Teague, Wells, Colorado; three brothers, Marshall and Sike of Elk City, 
and Sam of Borger, Texas. 

Committal was in the Berlin cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
