Kendall, died at his home in Perryton, Texas, last Thursday, August 13, 1926, following a stroke of paralysis a few hours before. A former Rankin, Oklahoma neighbor, Will O. Haven, stayed with him the night before, and at getting up time he told Will that he had had a stroke, and he did not speak again, being unconscious for several hours till he died about 10 a.m., age 59 years, 9 mo., 221 days. E.B. was born in the State of Indiana, October 21, 1865, son of William J. and Elizabeth Ann Randall. Four brothers and one sister survive to mourn his early death; William F. Randall and Charles H. Randall of North Vernon, Ind.; Hugh F. Randall of Vernon, Ind.; Van Randall of Bloomington, Ind.; and Mrs. Lucy Rusk of Pasadena, Calif. In 1901, E.B. settled on his homestead one and one-half miless north of Raqnkin, Roger Mills county, and took a leading part in all community interests, as in organizing the M.E. Sabbath School and church of which he was a member, promoting good schools and good roads and a charter member of the Rankin Grange, organized 1917. He married Ethel Howard in 1907 and six months to a day, after a short sicknesss she died and was buried in the Rankin (now White Rose) cemetery May 24, 1908. In 1919, he sold his Rankin farm to A.C. Dotson, and for seven years has lived at Perryton, Texas, and on Saturday afternoon, August 14, his funeral services were held in Perryton, Texas and on Sabbath, August 15, 1926 the burial was at the Rankin, Oklahoma Cemetery, the K.P. Loddge of Perryton, had charge, assisted by the local pastor, Jos. H. Snarr, gave the beautiful ritual service at 2:00p.m., before a large crowd of former neighbbors. Only two brothers, William F. and Hugh F. Randall were able to be present at the burial. Jack Allen of Prerryton, Texas, gave a eulogy, telling of E.B.'s industry, uprightness, honesty, and charitablenous reading his favorie poem "Let me live by the side of the road, and be a friend to man."
