Lee was born October 10, 1938 in Beckville, Texas to Dallas and David Benjamin Lee. He passed away July 24, 2000 at the Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 61 years, 9 months and 14 days. Gordon grew up in the Waxahachie Baptist Home for children of Waxahachie, Texas. He was married to Mary Ford at Lovington, New Mexico on June 8, 1961 and they made their home in Burns Flat, Oklahoma. He owned and operated Lee's Machine and Welding in Elk City and Corn. He attended the Arapaho First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Mary of the home; 2 sons, David A. Lee and fiancee Sherry Turney of Kaufman, Texas and Ronald Lee and fiancee, Bobbie Jo Hines of Kaufman, Texas. Five grandchildren, Megan, Courtney and Kaitlyn Lee and Amber and Maryellen Lee. Four sisters and brothers, Frances Price, Ft. Woth, Texas, David Lee, Ft. Woth, Texas; Bill Lee, Lovington, New Mexico; Josehpine Rankin, Rankin, Texas; a half -sister Julia Anderson and a host of relatives and friends. Services were held Wednesday, July 26, 2000 at 3:00 p.m. at Whinery-Savage Chapel in Elk City, Oklahoma. Burial followed in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Whiney-Savage Funeral Services. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
